For those of you who have been to my house, you know that we had the TV and Couch in the basement, along with our Master bedroom/bathroom. The people who lived here before us had it arranged this way and when we moved in it just made the most since to do the same. Well, after almost a year of living in the basement I was starting to go a little stir crazy. I felt like i was living in a dungeon 24/7.
So... a couple weeks ago Nick and I started trying to imagine how our couch and TV would work in the front room upstairs that was currently being used as storage (which is so sad b/c it's my favorite room in the house with the awesome hardwood floors, windows, and crown molding). Well, we were having a hard time picturing it so Nick said, "why don't we just move it and see how we like it?" Um... Okay! Why not?
After a few hours of taking our couch apart, hauling it upstairs, cussing a little, taking the other couch to the basement, cussing a little more, we finally had it the way we wanted it... and let me just say, it's a MILLION times better! I don't know why we didn't do this to begin with.
I don't have any pictures of what it looked like in the basement, but the big windows and natural sunlight alone make it worth it. I'm in love.
And can I just say that I love our couch? It's a Love Sac couch and it's awesome because you can re-arrange it anyway you want to fit any room. I highly recommend it.
On another note, I think our house is possessed. When I woke up this morning and went outside to feed Franklin, our garage was open.
So I closed it....
When I came home from church, this is what I found .....
So, once again I closed it.
This isn't the first time it's happened, it's been acting weird for months now. At first I was terrified, thinking that someone was trying to steal our stuff but now I'm just annoyed and only slightly creeped out.
Oh, and I love this little guy. Just looking at his face makes me smile.
Happy Sunday!
