St. Geezy!

Nick, myself, Laura, Bear, Jessica, and Jared all packed our bags and headed south for the weekend. Although it was a short trip, it was much needed and we had a great time!

5k fun!

I ran in my first 5k ever on Saturday! (By ran I mean walk/jog... mostly walk) Let's face it, I'm not the best runner in the world. It's not that I'm way out of shape or anything. I probably could have ran the whole thing if I hadn't talked myself out of it. The mental aspects of running are what I need to work on the most. Talking myself INTO it instead of OUT of it.

Either way we had a lot of fun! It was Nick, myself, my mom, my brother Ryan, his gf Ashley, My aunt Julie and cousin Ziggy.

about 15 minutes before the race started

Just doing a little pre-race stretching. Nick used to run cross country in high school so he is an expert on how to properly prepare for a race. hahah

About a mile into the race I turned around and I couldn't believe how many people there were. I guess about 20,000 people were supposedly registered for this race.

Good Job team Sue!!

(My aunt Sue didn't die of breast cancer but she died of a brain tumor probably 15 years ago so we were running for her. Miss you Aunt Sue!)
